Question: Are your cars insured?

Yes, all our vehicles come with comprehensive insurance coverage, including:

  • Passenger liability protection.
  • Third-party property damage up to RM 3,000,000.00.
  • Unlimited coverage for third-party bodily injuries.
Question: What is Liability Reduction Option?

Liability Reduction Option (LRO) is an additional coverage that limits the renter's liability for damages to the vehicle, including theft, irrespective of fault. If the renter accepts the LRO and complies with the terms and conditions in the Rental Agreement, their liability is limited to the excess fee. In the event of an accident or theft, with a police report made within 24 hours, Hertz will charge a maximum excess fee of RM 2,200.

Question: How do I include LRO in my rental after making the booking?

To include the Liability Reduction Option or any other optional items for car rental, you can purchase them at the rental counter when you collect your car. Our staff will be available to assist you with adding any desired optional items to your car rental.
